Description:
The great buddha statue is situated inside Todai-ji — the Great Buddha Temple — in Nara, Japan. This bronze statue is the largest manifestation of its kind in Japan. The structure in which it resides is one of the largest wooden specimens of architecture in the world — held together without nails.
